Scholarships

NCAMIC once again offered two $2,500 scholarships to Appalachian State students for the 2018 spring semester.  Specific criteria for scholarship eligibility were:

  • Student enrolled in Insurance, Risk Management or Related Field at Appalachian State University

  • Student has completed 60 credit hours or is a junior

  • Grade point average must be 3.0 or above for all courses taken

  • Planning a career in the insurance industry

  • Willing to attend one conference at no charge

 

Candidates were evaluated, based on the following:

  • Demonstration of intent to work in the insurance industry

  • Need for financial assistance

  • Contributions to the community

  • Essay

  • Letters of Recommendation
